So since my entry is already in CA (expedited....and $16.25 later.....GRRR.....), I suppose it's okay to reveal my drawing for the Shonen Jump Cover Contest.

Well, here it is! The one I've been asking suggestions for. XDDDD

I was going to ink it in better, but was afraid it might look funny. I can see why people agreed though, after looking at this. THE SCAN IS LIGHTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. It looks better offline, trust me. That's why I decided to leave the lines the way they were.

Unfortunately, the lighter Copic shadowing isn't showing up here either, so if some parts look blank, that's why. I don't understand why my scanner is being so silly.....

My signature looks bunky because I erased my last name for paranoia issues I have. But know that it's one sweet signature. 8D

Sorry it's so big. I was lazy in making it smaller. And if you want to see it big for reference purposes, now you can! I have no problem with that.

Just don't copy and claim it's yours, okay?

First in pencil, copied, inked, cleaned up with white out, recopied (SEVERAL TIMES) onto smooth Bristol board, then shaded in Copics (Cool Grays No. 1, 3, 5, 7, and the color blender). Ink is in Vellum Writer and a Sakura Micron. Original pencil is in General's 4H lead. This was the most insane process I have ever been through....I couldn't get the faces right and had to copy and recopy and clean stuff up SO MANY BLOODY TIMES.

Characters belong to Mr. Oda, until I steal them from his top underwear drawer.
Poses/layout are of my creation. No references used for characters (except for Zolo's nose...) or for Copic process. All done on my own! 8D
